The Vermeer D36x50 Series II Drill is a horizontal directional drilling (HDD) machine designed for medium-sized drilling projects. It is used for installing underground utilities like pipelines, electrical cables, and fiber optic lines.
This is a mid-sized drill with BIG features. Powered by a 140 hp engine, this machine offers 4,995 ft-lb of rotary torque and 36,000 lb of thrust and pullback. With the electronic joystick, we are able to administer thrust and rotation with precision and accuracy. For performing a wide range of medium diameter, to mid-to-long distance utility installations, this is the machine. So much so, we now have 3 in our fleet.
